What the workshop is about

Designed to promote collaboration within interdisciplinary in-house teams, this 2-day workshop is a condensed version of UX Consulting’s comprehensive coaching programme on how interdisciplinary in-house teams can apply UX practices to build meaningful digital products.

During this workshop, participants will undertake a group project that simulates a full round of the digital product life-cycle. Activities include a detailed introduction of user experience practice, creation of personas and customer journey maps, design validation sessions, and refinement of the product. 

Who this workshop is for

Participants should sign up as an in-house interdisciplinary team of 3-5.

As part of the coaching framework, and in order for workshop participants to experience how to effectively collaborate in an in-house interdisciplinary team, we require each team to have at least one member each of these roles:

  • Product / Project Manager
  • Designer (UX / UI / Interaction / Visual)
  • Developer (Front-end / Mobile App)

Teams may use their remaining slot(s) to include members in the following roles:

  • Digital Marketer
  • Business Analyst
  • Copywriter

All participants must be able to attend all workshop sessions.

Introduction to user experience & product lifecycle through experiential learning.

Develop lean personas and customer journey map based on selected stage of product lifecycle.

Learn how to plan and moderate a usability testing session.

Synthesise findings from the usability testing session and translate them into actionable insights.

Raven Chai
Founding Principal at UX Consulting

Raven Chai is the founding principal at UX Consulting, has over 17 years experience as a technologist, experience designer and usability practitioner. He has been involved in implementing UX practices in more than 160 projects across various industries and of different products – eServices, bank applications, large corporate websites, eCommerce, lifestyle, B2B portals, TV and mobile apps. He has been providing advisory to various government statutory boards like SPRING Singapore, EDB and IDA in the areas of User Experience practices.
